Lichens are relationships incarnate. The word “symbiosis” was coined to describe this inter-kingdom collaboration between mycobiont, photobiont, and their environments. Lichens challenge the idea that life reduces to a competition for resources among the fittest. This shirt is our homage to these little teachers. An outward expression of an inner commitment to be a little more licheny.
