Pachypodium succulentum x bispinosum

A deciduous succulent shrublet, up to 1.2 m tall that produces a massive egg- shaped caudex which gives rise to numerous, much contorted spiny branches bearing small oval leaves and profuse quantities of small, bright pink flowers. This hybrid can be found naturally occurring in the wild due to the parent plants sharing habitat.

The hybrid plant has flowers part-way between its parents. It has a tapered tube and faint stripes. The parent plants are very similar apart from the difference in the flowers.
